Zaporah is an improvisational artist. She enters the stage with no pre-arranged concepts and starts her pieces with a spontaneous action. Each improvisational performance's content and scenarios are built step by step. Within each performance, she introduces characters, events and situations that reflect the workings of her imagination and her personal experience. Her pieces are dreamlike, landscapes grounded in humor and pathos. Performing both as actor and dancer, she weaves her images through movement, language and sound.
